Dcard ingest gets the full treatment
Wedge ruled that every Dcard ingest includes comments, pictures, scores, reader English in en.json, and a reader restart. Chat translation is extra. The Cantonese hkfreshmen post 262068471 was deleted.
Dcard ingest gets the full treatment
Wedge said on 7 September 2026: “go ahead, it should be assumed that i want the full treatment for any dcard post ingest. you can delete the Cantonese one.”
Full treatment for a Dcard ingest means comments when a post has 4 or more, still pictures hosted on Dcard, scores rebuilt, every readable sentence written into /Users/n1/Projects/tan/library/yuedu/harvest/2026-W35/en.json so the local reader overlay works, and the reader restarted. A chat translation of titles is extra.
The corpus is Taiwan-colloquial Chinese. Post 262068471 on the board hkfreshmen was Cantonese. That post asked whether to keep a physical student Octopus card or move it onto a phone. The post was deleted from posts, markdown, and media. That post had no comment file.
The rule is written in /Users/n1/Projects/tan/handoffs/HANDOFF-DCARD-TO-GROK-2026-09-03.md under §2 and §11, in the header of /Users/n1/Projects/tan/library/yuedu/harvest/2026-W35/INDEX.md, and in working memory in /Users/n1/Projects/Claude.md.
