Question Answering Against a Wiki

Research answers improve when the existing markdown knowledge base becomes the first context instead of an afterthought.

Workflow

  1. Read notes/index.md.
  2. Read the most relevant wiki pages and source notes.
  3. Search for related terms across wiki/, raw/, and 01 - Workbench/.
  4. Write durable answers that need review to 01 - Workbench/.
  5. Cite consulted pages and sources.
  6. Add unresolved issues to outputs/generated-questions.md (not the archived 02 - System/Open Questions.md).
  7. Promote durable new insight back into wiki/.
  8. Append a query entry to log.md.

Answer Standard

An answer should be useful as a standalone artifact and as future context.

It should include:

  • The question.
  • Short answer.
  • Detailed answer.
  • Evidence consulted.
  • Related concepts.
  • Follow-up questions.
